Square Enix Manga Releases The Princess Groom Volume 1

Square Enix Manga has published the first volume of The Princess Groom, a fantasy romance series based on Asaki Asagiri’s light novels. The story centers on Leticia Orlesian, a duke’s daughter who maintains a delicate public persona while secretly operating as the formidable Frost Dragon Emperor. She is engaged to Prince Gilbert Rothman, known as the Cursed Prince due to his red eyes and a family history associated with chaos. Their initial meeting goes awry when Gilbert rejects her, leading to an encounter that reveals their true personalities and mutual attraction.

The manga adaptation is illustrated by Selen, who also handled illustrations for the original work. This volume contains nearly 165 pages of the first chapter followed by a shorter second installment. It features translation by Minami and lettering by Lys Blakeslee. While serialization began in Japan in 2024, English releases are moving faster than the source material's current output.
