Cookies and browser storage

• hd_theme in local storage - remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your browser.

We set no cookies for readers, use no fingerprinting and no cross-site identifiers, and our visit statistics store nothing in your browser (see below). There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Earlier versions of the site set a hd_age cookie to remember an 18+ confirmation; it is no longer set or used, and you can delete it.

Anonymous visit statistics

We count visits ourselves, on our own server - no Google Analytics or any other third-party service is involved. When a page has loaded, your browser sends us a small note about the visit. For each page view we record:

• the page address without its query string (only a page number such as “page 2” is kept - never search terms);
• the domain of the website that sent you, if any (for example google.com - not the full address of that page);
• campaign tags in the link, if present (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign);
• the country supplied by our content delivery network (derived from your IP address, which we do not keep);
• the browser, operating system and device type (desktop, phone or tablet), derived from your browser’s user agent, which is then discarded;
• how long the page was open in the foreground.

To count unique visitors, we combine your IP address and user agent with a random key that changes every day and turn them into a one-way code. The daily key is deleted after two days, so a code can’t be traced back to you or linked to your visits on other days. Your IP address and user agent themselves are never stored.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it: the visit is only added to the anonymous page counters, without the daily code and without linking it to your other page views.

No cookies, local storage or other browser storage are used for statistics. Detailed visit records are deleted after 35 days, aggregated reports after 13 months; only daily totals (numbers, nothing else) are kept longer. The same page views power the “Trending” lists.

We also count visits by automated clients such as search engine crawlers: the crawler’s name, the page it fetched and the response status - no IP address.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our servers may record technical request logs: IP address, browser user agent, the address requested, the referring page and the time. We use them only to keep the site secure, stop abuse and fix errors, keep them for no longer than 14 days, and never sell or share them - except where the law requires us to.

Third parties

• All pages, fonts and images are served from our own servers. Loading Hentaidude does not contact Google, social networks, ad networks or any other third party.
• The share buttons are plain links: nothing is sent to X, Reddit or Bluesky unless you click one, and then their privacy policies apply.
• When you follow a “Read the full story” link you leave our site; the publisher’s privacy policy applies there. Your browser tells them only that you came from hentaidude.tv (our domain, not the page).

If you email us

We use your message and address only to answer you and to handle your request (for example a takedown notice), and keep them only as long as that requires or the law obliges us to.

Your rights

Because we don’t keep profiles, there is usually no personal data about you to access or delete. If you believe we hold any - for example in an email thread - write to contact@hentaidude.tv and we will answer within 30 days, in line with the GDPR, UK GDPR and California privacy law.

Age restriction

Hentaidude is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors. See our terms of use.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add advertising or anything else that changes what data is handled, we will update this page and its date before it goes live.
