Content Removal

We respect the work of the publishers we link to. If you hold the rights to material that appears on Hentaidude and want it removed, send us a notice and we will act on it quickly.

What we actually host

For each story we store and display only:

  • the headline, and an excerpt of two to three sentences quoted from the source - or an original summary we wrote;
  • one image taken from the source’s feed or page, resized for our layout;
  • a credit and a link to the full story on the publisher’s site.

We do not host full articles, videos, downloads or scans. If your complaint is about those, it concerns another website.

How to send a notice

Email dmca@hentaidude.tv with “Removal request” in the subject. To act on it without back-and-forth, please include:

  1. the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (for example the original article or image and where it was published);
  2. the exact address of each page on hentaidude.tv you want removed (for example https://hentaidude.tv/news/story-name);
  3. your name, organisation, postal address, email address and phone number;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

These are the elements required by the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)); notices under other laws are welcome in the same form.

What happens next

  • We confirm receipt within two business days.
  • Complete notices are normally acted on within five business days - usually much sooner.
  • Urgent issues - anything involving minors, or private personal information - are handled immediately; see our zero-tolerance policy.

What removal means

When we remove a story:

  • its page is replaced by a short “This story has been removed” notice and answers with HTTP status 410 Gone, which tells search engines to drop it from their indexes;
  • its image files are deleted from our servers;
  • it disappears from our listings, RSS feeds, sitemaps and site search;
  • it is never imported again from the source’s feed - the link stays blocked even if the item reappears. For legal removals the headline is not shown on the notice page either.

Removing a whole publication

If you run one of our sources and no longer want to be aggregated, you don’t need a formal notice: email contact@hentaidude.tv from an address at your domain. We stop fetching your feed and, on request, remove the stories we already carry. Blocking HentaidudeBot in your robots.txt also stops our fetcher automatically.

If you think a removal was a mistake

If a story linking to your own work was removed because of someone else’s notice and you believe that was an error, write to dmca@hentaidude.tv with the page address and an explanation. We will review it and restore the story where appropriate.
