The Otaku Love Connection Volumes 3 and 4 Review

Square Enix Manga has released the third and fourth volumes of Chu Amairo’s romantic comedy series, The Otaku Love Connection. These English editions continue the story of Otonari and Mashiro, who navigate interpersonal conflicts within their friend group while exploring summer activities.

Volume three focuses on a disagreement regarding the shipping dynamics of characters Yuzuru and Chihiro, prompting discussions about respecting real people's feelings versus fictional preferences. Volume four shifts to lighter summer events, including a trip to Comiket and a beach day, as the group supports the developing relationship between Jogasaki and Hashibami.

The releases feature color pages, translation notes by Minami, lettering by Brandon Bovia, and an exclusive bonus chapter. While volume five is available in Japan, it has not yet been scheduled for English release.
