Kagurabachi Anime Holds Early Two-Episode World Premiere in Japan

The anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono's manga Kagurabachi will host an exclusive world premiere of its first two episodes at the Kabukiza Theater in Japan on March 25. This special screening occurs one month ahead of the series' scheduled April 2027 broadcast release date. The event marks the final stop of the production's international world tour, which began with footage shown at Anime Expo in Los Angeles this past July.

Main cast members are confirmed to attend the Japanese viewing to celebrate the milestone. Additionally, live screenings of the premiere will be broadcast in cinemas across the country. The early reception for the series has been highly positive, with initial footage drawing comparisons to major shonen titles and generating significant anticipation for the upcoming television debut.

Anime Corner reported on October 7 that Yuichi Nakamura was cast as Soshiro Azami. Anime News Network also announced on October 2 that Yūichi Nakamura joined the cast. Crunchyroll News stated on October 2 that the anime revealed the voice actor for Soshiro Azami and a April 2027 release date. AniTrendz reported on October 2 that the world tour premiered a first look featuring Taihi Kimura. AniTrendz further noted on October 12 that the tour included stops in Singapore, South Korea, and Brazil.
