Bandai Namco Cross Store and Gundam Base Mall of America Openings Delayed
Bandai Namco has postponed the September 30, 2026 opening of its Bandai Namco Cross Store and Gundam Base locations at the Mall of America in Minneapolis. The company confirmed that plans for these retail spaces remain intact, with both stores intended to sell anime and game merchandise, model kits, and Gashapon machines.
No new launch date has been provided. These outlets would become the second US locations for their respective brands, following the existing Cross Store in Brooklyn and the Gundam Base in Rosemont.
CBR Anime reported on September 28 that a planned Gundam U.S. store opening was canceled without reason.
