Bandai Namco Cross Store and Gundam Base Open at Mall of America
The Bandai Namco Cross Store and The Gundam Base locations at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, are scheduled to open on October 30, 2026. This date follows a delay from September that pushed back the debut of both retail spaces. The Bandai Namco Cross Store will feature merchandise from various anime and game franchises, including figures from Banpresto, MegaHouse, and Tamashii Nations. Meanwhile, The Gundam Base will focus exclusively on the franchise, offering model kits and related collectibles. No special opening events have been announced yet.
SoraNews24 reported on October 2, 2026, that the Gundam Base Minneapolis opening was postponed indefinitely. Anime News Network announced on October 15, 2026, that the idle game Gundam Blitz Order would undergo a network test in November.
