Apothecary Diaries Escape Game Announced for January 2027

Real Escape Games has partnered with The Apothecary Diaries franchise to launch a new immersive experience titled "Escape from the Murderous Banquet." This interactive event is scheduled to open in Japan on January 28, 2027, and will remain available until April 11 at Tokyo's Himitsukichi Lab Grand Hall. Participants assume the role of apprentice pharmacists attending a noble wedding alongside protagonists Maomao and Jinshi. When the bride collapses after being poisoned, players must assist Maomao, who temporarily replaces her, in identifying the culprit while caring for the victim.

The attraction features original audio recorded by the series' voice cast to guide attendees through medical puzzles and an immersive setting. Ticket sales begin on November 11, with special packages offering limited-edition coasters, teacups, and exclusive artwork related to the escape room's narrative. This collaboration adds to the expanding reach of the popular mystery series, which continues to draw interest through various media adaptations and promotional events.
