AnimeFesta to Exclusively Stream 'The Snow Woman Widow and the Cursed Ring' in September

WWWave’s anime subscription service AnimeFesta has announced it will exclusively stream the TV anime adaptation of 'Hito Tsukai ga Nigate na Mibotoke no Yuki Onna-san to Noroi no Yubiwa' (The Snow Woman Widow Who Is Bad at Socializing and the Cursed Ring) starting on September 11, 2026, at 17:00 JST. The series follows Satoru, a building manager, and Shofu, a snow woman widow who is his tenant. After accidentally angering Shofu, Satoru uses a mysterious ring said to facilitate communication with youkai to apologize. Instead of reconciliation, the ring causes Shofu to become aggressively forward, leading to an awkward and stimulating romantic comedy dynamic between the two.

The exclusive early release on AnimeFesta will feature two versions of the first episode. Viewers can watch the standard broadcast version, which matches the terrestrial TV airing, as well as a premium uncensored version available only through the platform. This premium edition offers content not seen on traditional television broadcasts. The announcement highlights the service's ability to provide both mainstream titles and restricted adult-oriented anime adaptations under one subscription model.
