Welcome to Yu-hachi’s House Anime Adaptation Announced

The manga series Welcome to Yu-hachi’s House is receiving an anime adaptation. The project will feature original characters and a distinct world separate from the source material. Director Rarecho and Director Gaku Kinoshita are leading the production, layering their own creativity onto the existing manga foundation. Animation producer Nakatani from Fuji TV stated that the team hopes audiences enjoy both the manga and the new anime for what they are individually.

Creator Yu-hachi expressed gratitude for the support received during the development process. She noted that while she studied product design at Tama Art University, the pandemic prevented her from entering that industry. Her comedic style was influenced by gag manga such as Crayon Shin-chan. The adaptation aims to satisfy existing fans while attracting new viewers to read the original works.
