TopHouse Publishing Reveals Visual Overhaul for Adult Game Guilty Pleasures

TopHouse Publishing has announced that development of its adult visual novel, Guilty Pleasures, is nearing completion, marking the studio's most ambitious project to date. The developer shared a significant update regarding the game's visuals, highlighting extensive redesigns of character sprites and environmental locations.

The updated character designs focus on enhanced expressiveness and individuality, aiming to better convey personalities and emotions through vivid imagery. Alongside the characters, several key settings have been refined to support the narrative. These include Monroe House, described as Marcus’s new residence filled with secrets; the Newspaper Office, where clues may be found; and the Police Station, which serves as the site for an investigation into Arthur’s death.

Additional environments feature in the update, such as a neighbor's apartment and a date location, alongside one unnamed room. The publisher stated that these improvements align with their goal of setting a new quality standard for adult games by combining high-quality visuals with well-developed characters and story.
