SoraNews24 Staff Dress as Guile for Halloween

Staff at SoraNews24 celebrated the holiday closest to Halloween by adopting a unified costume theme centered on Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise. Rather than selecting diverse characters, the entire office team chose to portray the iconic fighter Guile, leveraging the game's long-standing mechanic that allows multiple players to select the same character.

The event involved significant preparation, with employees crafting their own versions of Guile’s signature yellow spiky hair using paper and other materials. The resulting costumes varied in accuracy, ranging from detailed constructions to improvised outfits sourced from thrift stores or online retailers. Seiji Nakazawa led a humorous inspection of the group, critiquing details such as fabric choices, camouflage patterns, and hair construction.

This tradition continues the outlet’s history of creative office dress-up events, which have previously included themes based on popular drinks and urban landscapes. The staff shared photos of their individual interpretations, highlighting both the effort put into the project and the playful nature of the competition.
