Psychological Mystery Visual Novel 'Psycho-Sleuth' Launches November 5

Developer PHOSEPO has announced that its psychological mystery visual novel, Psycho-Sleuth, will release for PC on November 5, 2026. The title is available via Steam and STOVE, with co-publishing support from Thermite Games and Smilegate STOVE.

The game centers on a mysterious cult called Li that controls a gothic cathedral, summoning thirteen participants known as the Afflicted Ones to a deadly trial. Players must commit murder without detection to achieve godhood, navigating investigations influenced by cognitive disorders such as OCD, spatial neglect, and prosopagnosia. These conditions distort perception and testimony, requiring players to verify evidence before engaging in real-time Debate Mode.

PHOSEPO states the project features over 500,000 characters of script, more than 40 CGs, Live2D animation, and full voice acting for key scenes. Producer Xiaolu cited Danganronpa and Ace Attorney as inspirations while emphasizing the unique integration of mental health mechanics into the mystery structure.
