Naruto and Ninku Collaboration Anime Announced as Four-Episode Series

A new four-episode anime collaboration between Naruto and Ninku has been officially announced. The project was unveiled during the New York Comic Con 2026 event on October 10, 2026. This initiative marks a significant update for the long-running franchise, which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary with various media projects.

The story follows a young Naruto Uzumaki who gets lost in the world of Ninku while on a mission. Ninku, created by Koji Kiriyama, originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in 1993. It features Fusuke, a former member of the Ninku Corps using martial arts to find his mother.

This announcement follows a previous delay of a similar project scheduled for late 2023. That earlier attempt was postponed to allow the production team more time to improve quality. No further updates occurred for over three years until this recent reveal at the convention.
