MVM Releases 'From Bureaucrat to Villainess' Blu-ray Collection

MVM Entertainment has issued a two-disc Blu-ray collection for the anime adaptation of From Bureaucrat to Villainess: My Dad’s Been Reincarnated!. The release features both subtitled and dubbed audio tracks, alongside textless opening and ending theme songs as bonus content. The series follows Kenzaburo Tondabayashi, a middle-aged bureaucrat who dies saving a child and is reincarnated as Grace Auvergne, the villainess in his daughter’s favorite otome game. Despite his new role, his inherent kindness confuses the Royal Magic Academy staff and students. He forms an unexpected friendship with Anna Doll, the game’s heroine, acting as her mentor rather than persecutor. Meanwhile, his family in the real world discovers he is in a coma and attempts to communicate with him through the game. The twelve-episode anime was produced by Ajiado and aired on HIDIVE in 2025. It is based on the ongoing manga by Michiro Ueyama, which remains uncompleted with no second season announced.
