The idol unit Walküre from the Macross Delta anime will release a new single titled "Walküre wa Makerarenai" on March 24, 2027. This track marks the group's first musical output since pausing activities following their 2023 arena tour. The announcement includes a retrospective trailer and reveals jacket artwork by original character designer Chisato Mita.
Walküre was formed in 2016 with voice actors Minori Suzuki, JUNNA, Kiyono Yasuno, Nozomi Nishida, and Nao Toyama. They have previously released four CD singles, two digital tracks, three studio albums, and one bonus record.
