Trigun Manuscript Novel Announced for Winter Release
The Trigun franchise is returning with a new novel titled Trigun Manuscript, scheduled for release this winter. The announcement appeared in the autumn issue of Sheisha's Jump SQ. Rise magazine. The project is co-written by original creator Yasuhiro Nightow and Takehiko Oxi, who served as a writer for the recent anime adaptation Trigun Stampede.
According to official social media accounts, the book serves as a "long-awaited novelization." It will take place within the same timeline established by Trigun Stampede and its sequel, Trigun Stargaze. While specific plot details have not been disclosed, the title is expected to revisit events from these preceding works while potentially introducing new sequences or insights not present in the animated versions.
On November 2, Anime News Network reported that Trigun receives a new novel based on the Stampede and Stargaze anime.
