Giantess Naval Defense RTS Announced for Steam Release in 2027

Pico Games has announced Giantess Naval Defense, a tower defense strategy title scheduled for release on Steam in 2027. The game tasks players with controlling Orca, a giant orca girl discovered by the military, to defend humanity against waves of space-borne kaiju.

Combat involves aiming and firing naval artillery mounted on Orca’s hairpin-shaped head while managing ammo limits and weapon heat. Players can utilize unique skills, shields, and supporting battleships during these encounters. Each stage concludes with a boss fight against a powerful female kaiju, where exploiting weak spots allows for significant counterattacks.

Between combat waves, players must gather resources by piloting submarines to collect materials from fallen enemies within strict time limits. This intel is used to craft upgrades and advance the story. The narrative follows navigator Iruka Amano, who shares a strange bond with Orca, enabling communication and cooperation between humans and the giant sea beast.
