The official website for Future GPX Cyber Formula has unveiled the main trailer for a double feature celebrating the franchise's 35th anniversary. The theatrical event, scheduled to open in Japan on February 19, 2027, screens two titles simultaneously.

The first is Future GPX Cyber Formula EARLYDAYS RENEWAL: MOVIE EDITION, an HD remastered and re-edited version of the 1996 compilation film supervised by chief director Mitsuo Fukuda. The second is Future GPX Cyber Formula ASURADA, a new short anime serving as a direct sequel to the 1998–2000 OVA series SIN.

This project marks the first animated release for the series in 26 years, with original creator Shoji Kawamori handling cyber machine designs.
