Chilean Men Accused of $1.3 Million Theft Say They Heard Japan Has “Lenient Punishments”
Two Chilean men already arrested over the theft of approximately 200 million yen ($1.3 million) worth of luxury watches from Tokyo’s Nakano Broadway have been arrested again over a separate burglary – and police say the suspects admitted targeting Japan because they had heard its punishments were lenient.
