Black Clover Season 2 Reveals New Pre-Premiere Visual Ahead of October 3 Return

The Black Clover anime has unveiled a new pre-premiere visual for its second season, which is scheduled to return on October 3, 2026. This latest promotional image accompanies the release of the synopsis and preview materials for the first episode, titled "War Begins." The announcement follows earlier reveals of the main trailer and theme song details.

Studio Pierrot continues its role in animation production under director Ayataka Tanemura. Key staff members returning for the season include Keiichiro Ochi for series composition, Itsuko Takeda for character design, and Kumiko Tokunaga for sub-character design. The opening theme, "Kienai Riyuu" by WANIMA, was previously confirmed alongside the initial marketing push.

Crunchyroll will handle streaming rights for the series globally. The platform recently hosted an early screening event for North American audiences earlier this month. The manga source material concluded its run in May after eleven years of serialization.
