The Battle in 5 Seconds manga has resumed serialization following a break caused by artist Miyakokasiwa's health issues. The series, which is a remake of Saizō Harawata's original work, previously went on hiatus in October 2024 due to personal and medical concerns. It had returned briefly in January 2025 before pausing again. Shogakukan posted the latest chapter on June 11, after the author announced the August 13 break. The story follows high schooler Akira Shiroyanagi as he fights against a mysterious organization using special abilities.
