The television anime adaptation of Ryon's manga 'Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san?' will premiere on January 7. It airs in the Super Animeism Turbo block on MBS and TBS channels at 00:26 Thursdays. Synergy SP handles production under director Yasuaki Fujii, with scripts by Keiichirō Ōchi and character designs by Majiro. Voice cast includes Sayumi Suzushiro as Mai Chihara and Maaya Uchida as Chinatsu Iwakura. Music is composed by Arisa Okehazama for King Records.

Seven Seas Entertainment holds the English license for the source material, which follows high school student Kuroki as he gets to know the seemingly intense Mai Chihara.

Crunchyroll News reported on October 15 that the anime premieres on January 7.
