Aoashi Season 2 Premieres October 4, 2026 with TMS Entertainment
The second season of the soccer anime Aoashi is scheduled to premiere on October 4, 2026. The new installment will stream internationally via Crunchyroll as a 24-episode series divided into two cours. Production duties have shifted from Production I.G to TMS Entertainment for this continuation.
The narrative picks up immediately after the first season, adapting the A-Team arc from Yugo Kobayashi and Naohiko Ueno’s manga. Protagonist Ashito Aoi has been promoted to the top youth squad of Tokyo City Esperion, where he faces significantly higher competition in speed and tactical intelligence. The story focuses on his adjustment to professional academy life and internal team rivalries.
TMS Entertainment brings prior experience with sports titles such as Yowamushi Pedal. This studio change marks a departure from the grounded aesthetic established by the previous production house known for Haikyu!! and Kuroko’s Basketball.
