Wandering Planet Toys Reveals Showa WarLor for Kickstarter
Wandering Planet Toys has unveiled the Showa WarLor, a new variant in its Planetoid Raiders action figure line. This release coincides with the launch of the franchise's Kickstarter campaign ahead of New York Comic Con 2026. The figure reimagines the existing character with a distinct color scheme and updated artwork to honor Japan’s Showa-era tokusatsu culture.
The 1:18 scale toy features five points of articulation and is part of a wave that includes Captain Oton, Helmsman Ryot, Yogun, and the original WarLor. Collectors can purchase individual figures on retro-style cardbacks or acquire them within a metal lunchbox-style case featuring art by Bill Rude.
