Amazon Offers Discount on Classic Transformers Optimus Prime Figure

Amazon is offering a 30 percent discount on the Heroic Optimus Prime figure during its Prime Big Deal Days event running from October 6 to 7. The 11-inch toy belongs to the Cyber Commander series and features a design based on the character's original Generation 1 appearance. It allows users to convert between robot and truck modes in six steps. This release follows other recent product launches celebrating the franchise's history, including an August announcement for a large prop replica bust by McFarlane Toys and Hasbro. The current wave of retro-themed merchandise coincides with the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie. Hasbro recently organized an apology tour for the film's theatrical return, acknowledging the emotional impact of the story on long-time viewers.
