Sekhmet and Zoe Win Palworld 2026 Global Popularity Poll

Pocketpair has announced the results of the Palworld Global Popularity Poll for 2026, revealing Sekhmet as the top-ranked Pal character and Zoe as the most popular human. The poll included all 288 characters in the monster category and 16 human figures. Sekhmet secured first place with 49,637 votes, followed by Sol and Chillet. In the human category, Zoe received 133,221 votes, ahead of Auri and Saya.

Alongside the voting results, the developer teased a new patch titled Side by Side. This update is scheduled to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC during Winter 2026. It remains unclear whether the winning characters will receive specific merchandise or in-game content additions.

Gematsu reported on October 20 that the Side by Side update launches this winter. AUTOMATON WEST stated on October 14 that Pocketpair rejects a live-service model for Palworld in favor of standalone spin-offs. Sankaku Complex also reported on October 15 that the developer rejects a live-service model involving DLC and microtransactions.
