Review: Demon’s Rise Up! Visual Novel

Fuwanovel has published a review of the adult visual novel Demon’s Rise Up!, describing it as a brief indie title featuring a futanari protagonist named Suzy. The narrative centers on Suzy, who discovers that a game provided by a friend is actually a succubus creation program, leading to interactions with animated succubi characters including Lina, Noriko, and Chouko. The reviewer notes that while the writing offers genuine intimacy and humorous character dynamics in its latter half, the initial dialogue suffers from repetitive personality traits among the cast.

Production quality presents significant challenges for the experience. The audio mix features voice lines that are inconsistently quiet, creating balance issues that cannot be resolved through simple volume adjustments. Visual assets also draw criticism, with motion CG described as janky and uncanny compared to still images. Despite these technical shortcomings, the reviewer found the sexual content engaging due to its realistic dialogue and emotional buildup. The game is available on Steam, GOG, itch.io, and Kagura Games, with a base price of $9.99.
