Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend Film Announces Bonus Text Story
The production team for the upcoming anime film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend has announced a special bonus item for theatergoers. Fans who attend screenings during the first week of the movie's release will receive a new text story titled Rascal Does Dream of a Tea Garden. This exclusive short narrative is penned by original author Hajime Kamoshida and features illustrations by Keeji Mizoguchi.
The bonus story focuses on characters Sakuta, Mai, and Shoko following a shopping trip. The film itself is set to open in Japanese theaters on October 16 and is described as moving the franchise toward its conclusion. An advance screening with the cast is scheduled for October 4 at the Shinjuku Wald 9 theater in Tokyo. The project continues the long-running light novel adaptation series produced by CloverWorks.
