Pokemon TCG: Delta Reign Release Date and Key Cards Revealed

The Pokemon Trading Card Game’s Mega Evolution: Delta Reign expansion is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026. Positioned as a player-focused set contrasting with the collector-oriented 30th Celebration series, Delta Reign introduces new gameplay mechanics and support options. The centerpiece of the set is Mega Rayquaza ex, a Basic Pokémon with 280 HP that deals increasing damage based on attached Fire and Lightning energy. Other notable playable cards include Mega Rayquaza Cap, which functions as an energy accelerator, and three new Special Energy types: Bubbly Water, Growing Grass, and Nitro Fire.

The set also features unique two-card Legendary Stadiums, such as Legendary Summit, which modifies prize rewards for Colorless Pokémon. Support cards like Tate & Liza’s Training and Aarune enable specific combos involving these stadiums. Visually, the expansion showcases diverse art styles, including hand-stitched designs for Nidoran and painterly effects for Surskit. Additional highlights include Illustration Rares like Kecleon and cute variants of Azurill, Pawmo, Combee, Fletchling, and Morpeko.
