One Piece Manga Enters Hiatus After Chapter 1194, Returns Oct. 11
Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga is taking a scheduled break following the release of Chapter 1194 on September 27, 2026. Weekly Shonen Jump confirmed that the series will pause publication for one week before resuming with Chapter 1195 on October 11, 2026. This hiatus aligns with the conclusion of Toei Animation’s 26-episode run for the 2026 television season.
The manga continues its narrative within the Elbaph Arc, part of the Final Saga. While the exact conclusion date remains unknown, Oda has reportedly sealed the answer to the title question in a treasure chest at the bottom of the sea. The franchise maintains momentum through upcoming theatrical releases, including One Piece Film: God Valley in 2027 and One Piece Film: Baad in 2029, both adapting canonical source material rather than anime-original stories.
