Priced at $49.99, this title serves as a standalone entry in the franchise, expanding upon the foundation laid by its predecessor with twelve distinct minigames set across the Spocco Resort islands. The selection includes traditional athletic competitions such as tennis, bowling, boxing, and golf, alongside unconventional activities like power cruising, prop plane flights, and skateboarding. These varied options aim to provide both competitive challenges and relaxed exploration opportunities for players of all ages.

The game supports local multiplayer through Friend Lobbies accommodating up to eight participants, as well as casual and ranked online play modes. Motion controls are designed for intuitive use, with many sports requiring only a single Joy-Con 2 controller to facilitate easy access and shared gameplay sessions.
