Netflix to Stream Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Enhanced Anime
Netflix has announced it will stream the Dragon Ball Super: Beerus anime series, an enhanced edition of the original television show. The release is scheduled for October 17 in the United States, with availability in selected international areas beginning on October 14.
This version features extensive new cuts, revised scenes, and a complete re-rendering of all footage. It includes newly recorded dubbing with added score and sound effects, alongside a full reconstruction of the narrative to better align with creator Akira Toriyama's original vision. The project aims to deliver greater visual immersion, particularly during battle sequences.
The series stars Kōichi Yamadera as Beerus, with opening theme by MEGATERA･ZERO and ending theme by VK Blanka. An early screening of the first episode will take place at New York Comic Con on October 8.
