Monster Hunter Wilds Switch 2 Demo Adds Local Multiplayer
Capcom has announced that the Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on October 19, 2026. This trial version introduces a local multiplayer feature for players to test, though online multiplayer remains unavailable in this demo and is reserved for the full release.
Functionally, the Switch 2 demo mirrors the existing versions on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, covering the game's introduction and allowing save files to carry over to the main title. Photo Mode is not included. Pre-orders become available via the eShop on the same date as the demo launch.
Gematsu reported on October 15 that the Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo for Switch 2 launches October 19.
