Kaiju No. 8 Conclusion Arc Announced as 2027 Film
TOHO Animation has confirmed that the conclusion arc of the Kaiju No. 8 anime will be adapted into a theatrical film scheduled for release in 2027. The project, titled Kaiju No. 8: The Final Mission, marks the next major step for the franchise following the recent second season. Director Shigeyuki Miya is returning to helm the movie at Production I.G.
The studio shared a super teaser visual featuring art by Shinji Kimura during an announcement event. This cinematic approach follows the earlier release of compilation films for the first season and the ongoing streaming availability of new episodes on Crunchyroll.
