Hello Kitty Island Adventure Update Adds Player Homes

Sanrio and Sunblink have released the Welcome Home update for Hello Kitty Island Adventure, bringing the game to version 3.0 with a focus on customization features. The free content introduces player housing, allowing users to build homes for themselves and Sanrio characters who previously served as non-playable entities. Marroncream appears as a new permanent resident to assist with decoration tasks.

The update also includes a Friend Pass option for PC players to facilitate cooperative play with those who do not own the title. Additionally, a $59.99 Switch 2 Friendship Bundle is scheduled for release in most regions on October 15, 2026. These additions join the ongoing Days of Plenty event, which began on October 8, 2026.
