Bandai Hobby Unveils Master Grade Superbia GN-X for March 2027

Bandai Spirits has officially announced the upcoming release of a new model kit for the Superbia GN-X, one of the rarest Mobile Suits from the obscure side-story series Mobile Suit Gundam 00V. The new entry joins the popular Master Grade (MG) Gunpla line and is scheduled to arrive in stores in March 2027.

The MG 1/100-scale kit builds upon the existing GN-XIII base design but features entirely new parts specific to the Superbia variant. It includes an iconic weapon system where the GN Kunai can transform between three modes: GN Vulcans with retracted blades, GN Swords for close combat, and GN Beam Needles using translucent purple effects. The package also provides a clear plastic display stand with a steel girder piece, allowing collectors to mount the model upside-down for a stealthy presentation.

Priced at an MSRP of 6,050 yen, or approximately US$40, the kit is expected to become available for pre-order soon. This release brings attention back to the niche publication history of Mobile Suit Gundam 00V, which originally appeared as serialized development documents before shifting to short stories.
