Evangelion XR Game Teaser Streams Ahead of 2027 Release

Korean developer Pixelity Inc. has begun streaming a promotional video for Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections, marking the first extended reality title in the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. The studio initially showcased this teaser during the San Francisco Hands-on Preview event last week before making it publicly accessible on social media platforms. This action-adventure experience utilizes both virtual and mixed reality technologies to allow players to explore the series' universe as an original character aspiring to become a pilot.

The game features quests and battles aligned with the anime's timeline, including cooperative play with established characters alongside new figures like NERV trainees. Voice talent includes Martin Dasen Holloway, Tasuku Hatanaka, Takayuki Nakatsukasa, and Genta Nakamura. Following a schedule adjustment, the title is now set to launch in 2027, having been delayed from its previous 2026 target date.
