Eleceed Anime Trailer Reveals April 2027 Premiere Date

The official website for the Eleceed television anime has begun streaming an English-subtitled trailer, confirming a new premiere date of April 2027. This announcement marks a significant delay from the original schedule, as producer Amuse Creative Studio had initially targeted a 2026 debut for the series.

Directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori at DandeLion Animation Studio, the adaptation follows high school student Jiwoo Seo, who hides his mysterious powers until he nurses an injured stray cat back to health. The cat reveals itself to be Kayden, the strongest of the "Awakened," individuals with superhuman abilities in the modern world. The two are soon drawn into conspiracies involving various organizations.

The series features voice work by Junya Enoki and Tasuku Hatanaka, with scripts overseen by Yousuke Kuroda. Based on the webtoon by Jeho Son and ZHENA, the story has garnered over 1.7 billion views globally since its 2018 debut.
