Anime Herald Marks Sixteen Years Since Launch

Anime Herald officially celebrated its sixteenth anniversary on Saturday, September 19. The publication began operations sixteen years prior with a brief introductory post. Over the years, the outlet evolved from a solo project into a team-based news site covering anime and manga. The founder expressed gratitude for reader support during industry shifts involving major companies like Funimation and Crunchyroll.

The magazine recently expanded into print media. The inaugural issue launched in December featuring articles by Daryl Surat, Lynzee Loveridge, and Erica Friedman. More than eight hundred readers purchased that first edition. A second issue released last month with new contributors including Coop Bicknell and Caitlin Moore. Layouts were handled by Katy Castillo while Tim Eldred created cover art. The publisher emphasized fair compensation for all writers and editors involved in both digital and print content.
