Studio Ghibli Coin and Card Cases Feature Spirited Away, Totoro Designs

The Studio Ghibli specialty shop Donguri Kyowakoku has released a new line of combination coin and card cases that recreate iconic scenes and props from the studio's animated films. These accessories are designed to help organize yen coins and rechargeable train pass cards, which are commonly used in Japan.

The collection includes four distinct designs: a Spirited Away case featuring No Face, Boh, and Yu-Bird on the underwater train; a Howl’s Moving Castle pouch with Calcifer in his frying pan; a My Neighbor Totoro case modeled after the caramel container; and a Kiki’s Delivery Service item based on Tombo’s party invitation. Each case features unique details such as character-shaped zipper pulls and see-through windows.

All items are priced at 3,190 yen (US$20). While the Whisper of the Heart book-design pouch remains out of stock, the other three designs have been restocked and are available for purchase through the Donguri Kyowakoku online store.
