Arrietty UK and Ireland Cinema Release Dates Announced

GKIDS has confirmed that Studio Ghibli’s Arrietty will arrive in UK and Ireland cinemas with IMAX previews starting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The film follows with a wide theatrical release beginning Friday, October 16, 2026. This screening marks the first time the adaptation of Mary Norton’s The Borrowers is presented in IMAX format within these regions.

The presentation features a newly remastered 4K version of the movie. Audiences can choose between the original Japanese audio with English subtitles or the 2011 English dub produced in the UK. The British English version includes voice performances by Saoirse Ronan, Olivia Colman, and Tom Holland. Tickets for both the IMAX previews and general screenings are currently available for purchase through the GKIDS website.
