Aoki Denshō Welsh & Shedar Anime Casts Risa Hayamizu

The official website for the original television anime Aoki Denshō Welsh & Shedar announced that voice actress Risa Hayamizu has joined the cast. She will portray Mama Caroni, the adoptive mother and cooking mentor to protagonist Welsh. The production by Studio Massket also shared character visuals for two other recent additions: Wataru Takagi as Khan Karkass and Show Hayami as Azalar.

The series follows Welsh, a country boy, and Shedar, a destined prince, as their paths cross while they attempt to stop a tyrant’s global conquest plan. Directed by Naoki Horiuchi with character designs by Saori Nakashiki, the show features music from Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui. It is scheduled to premiere on October 2 on Tokyo MX.
