Ace Combat Zero Port Restricted to AC8 Pre-Orders Due to Expired Licenses

Bandai Namco has clarified that the modern port of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War cannot be sold as a standalone product because licensing agreements with real-world fighter jet manufacturers have expired. During a September 28 livestream, developers at Project Aces explained that while their current contracts permit bundling the title as a pre-order incentive, they do not authorize separate retail distribution.

Consequently, the game is exclusively available as a digital bonus for those who pre-order Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Customers must place their orders before October 2 to secure the inclusion of The Belkan War and the F-14A aircraft. Physical copies containing the code are limited to first-run editions only.
